Wedding Wednesday: Timeline Series-First Look

“First look” is the special moment when a couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day. Traditionally, the first look takes place when a bride walks down the aisle. However, many couples are opting to see each other before the ceremony. The first look is a truly special moment as it allows the couple to see each other’s initial reaction, say their I love you’s and take lots of lovey dovey pictures together.  It also tends to be the only time the couple is alone to take lots of intimate photos together on their wedding day.

To allow plenty of time to capture this emotional moment, be sure to allocate up to 2 hours for the photo shoot.  Besides the bride and the groom, the couple might want to include their parents, maid of honor, best man, bridal party, and groomsmen as part of their photoshoot.

Here‘s a brief overview of how the “first look” photo shoot should go!
