This week my advanced studio lighting class finally began. I took the first part of the course last semester and just fell in love. Even though I generally shoot and prefer natural light, using fancy lighting equipment allows you to truly control the finished product. With the beginner version of the class we stuck to the studio and used constant lights, as opposed to this higher level in which we get to experiment with strobes (the ones that flash and pop) and can even take the lights virtually anywhere. Here are some of the images I took last year to give you an idea of what is to come in the next few months 🙂
