Telling people about your new business and a new slideshow
Hello Everyone! I am sorry I have not been on the blog a lot lately.
First and most importantly I hope everyone and their families on the East Coast are safe after hurricane Sandy came through and now after the Nor’Eastern Storm that is hitting the coast right now. If you would like to help those affected worst please consider donating to the Red Cross.
Second before we jump into today’s post about letting people know about your new business James and Victoria’s new slideshow is up on our YouTube page. http://www.youtube.com/user/photoplanningservice check it out and let us know what you think!
Now lets jump right into where we left off. So far we have a name, a logo, created a Facebook page, and maybe have started a simple website. Now we need to start getting the business name out there by word of mouth to your family and friends.
Tell your friends about your new business by calling them on the phone, emailing them, and even asking them to like your facebook page if they are on Facebook. PhotoPlanning Services sent a request to many of our friends on Facebook and talked with many of them to get their support. We also started doing photo shoots, professional photographs, and graduation photo shoots for free so they could see the work we do. Since them we have even photographed a couple of our friends weddings!
Tell you family! Some may even be willing to carry a couple of business cards for you and pass them out. Family can help you market, support you, and even give you advice on different issues.
Word of mouth is honestly one of the most important things to a new business. I know PhotoPlanning Services would not be where it is today without it. So many of our clients came from word of mouth and many originated from our friends.
So tell people you know about your new business!!!
Last but not least I would like to thank all of our friends especially DSP (Happy Founder’s Day) and family because without your continued support we would not be where we are today!
