Okay so I know I said I would put up more Gettysburg pictures this week I postponed it since it might be a little dreary on a special holiday, they will be up next week for sure!
Anyways, February 14th is a day some people love and others despise, but personally I’ve always enjoyed the day. Ever since I was a little kid and everyone in the class would share valentine cards and candy. (Those were the days!) Now that I’m older it’s nice to have a significant other on this particular day but not necessary! It’s also a holiday to show friends and family how much you care. For my special valentine he’s getting a surprise wrapped in my home made wrapping. I may have gone a little overboard on the decorating..but it definitely gets the point across!
While I think it’s a cute present it’s really not something glamorous or very expensive but it is something unique and thoughtful. I believe that’s what it should be about, don’t worry about spending a lot on fancy jewelry or dinner but just do something to show you care. No matter how you spend your day I hope you enjoy it!
