Wedding Wednesday: Timeline Series-Wedding Schedule for Getting Ready

When you start to create your timeline think about how long it is going to take you and your bridemaids to get ready.  Take with your hair stylist and make up artist and get an estimate of time from them. You also need to think about how much time it is going to take for your bridesmaids to get ready. When developing your timeline talk with all parties involved before finalizing anything.  Talk with your stylist, make up artist, photographer, and florist to then begin to construct your before ceremony timeline.   Say it is going to take 3 hours to get ready, another 30/45 minutes for bridesmaids to get dressed and for you to put on the dress, accessories, etc., then an hour and 30 minutes for photographs and then 30 minutes of rest and relaxation before walking down the aisle means things are going to start 5-6 hours before even thinking about walking down the aisle.  Another item to discuss with your florist is when flowers will be delivered.  Make sure flowers are delivered before you get dressed so that you can have your photographer get some awesome detailed shots of the bouquet, dress, rings, etc. Make sure you schedule it out so that you give yourself enough time to get ready and not be rushed.
