I have always been a photographer first and then a videographer second and I have learned a lot along the way. Videography is very different because you have to think about light, motion, sound,
and angles.
When I walk into a wedding doing videography I know immediately I want lots of cameras and lots of microphone options, and the options to move around. Videography though uses lots of equipment so here is the listing of items I use when doing videography:
Canon 5D Mark IV
Canon 80D (great for video)
Backup Camera-Canon 5D Mark III
Backup Camera-Canon 6D
4 Go Pros
2 Rode Shotgun Microphones
1 Rode Lapel Microphone and Receiver
1 Zoom Recorder (Sound only)
3 LED lights (attach to top of camera)
1 big LED light to put on a stand if allowed by wedding
DJI Ronin-S Camera Stabilizer
3 Sunpak Tripod/Monopod
3 Tripod wheel sets
DJI Osmo
DJI Mavic Mini drone
Canon Lens (35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, and 50mm macro)
Light stand
Lots of memory cards
Lots of batteries to run everything above. For AA or AAA batteries I only use rechargeable types.
