Tographer Tuesday: Lighting Series-Studio

Today is all about lighting for studio portraits.  When photographing in a studio the entire this is that everything should be well lit and you subject should also be well lit with no shadows. Typically when I shoot in a studio I have several box lights pointing in different directions which illuminate my clients so that their faces are shadow free!  When it comes to lighting in a studio though you can go beyond the basic head shoot and get creative with lighting.  You can only light one side of your client, just the top, etc.  When it comes to lighting in a studio you can play around and see what works best for your style and the type of image you are trying to create.
