This past week was full of good things! I had a long weekend celebrating our nations heroes, camped with friends and taught kids a little about cameras.
I never thought I’d go from being student to teacher so quick but was asked to fill in for a photographer at the school’s science fair. I whipped up a presentation in just a few days, and showed the students the basics of camera lenses. It was a ton of fun and hope that I got some kids interested not only in photography, but specifically film cameras. I displayed a lot of the older cameras that I’ve collected including a Brownie, (seen in the first image) and two very different rangefinder cameras, that fascinated them. It was a really rewarding experience and I hope I was able to inspire even just one boy or girl.
This week though I was intrigued by so much around me that I couldn’t choose one picture for each day! I hope you don’t mind that I cheated a smidge 🙂

I hope everyone had a nice memorial day, and kept in mind the brave men and women who serve our country, past and present.
