I’m Graduating!

Tomorrow is my undergraduate convocation, at GMU and I am so excited!! I’ve been looking forward to this for a very long time and still can’t believe it is finally here! This is a picture from my freshman orientation at Longwood University… haha nerd alert.

I met some of my closest friends there, but the school just wasn’t for me and later transferred in my sophomore year to George Mason University.

My whole college career was a huge roller coaster, from having tons of fun and going out to very stressful, long nights slaving over projects. Even just in this last semester my emotions were all over the place; I was constantly back and forth between looking forward to the end and be scared of what I will do after school.

Luckily, I was able to land a job in Maryland which I am very much looking forward to and start in just a couple weeks. (And of course I will still be a member of PPS!) I got in contact with the company through a career fair held by my school and went through the lengthy interview process from there. I honestly cannot stress enough how amazing these opportunities are. In fact all of my recent jobs, were attained through job fairs like these – they are an absolute must if you are looking for work.

Anyways, I want to leave you with the series I made for my senior project and worked on all semester long. Basically, what I wanted to do was get people to think about how short life really is by creating images of different forms of ghosts that are said to exist.

Enjoy 🙂

Throughout school, I was always taught to have both an artistic and commercial aesthetic, and I don’t want to lose sight of that now that I am no longer enrolled in classes. So I’ve decided to start a YEAR long project starting tomorrow and will share more of that endeavor next week!

Best,

~Kim
